Greetings from Romania! \u00a0 God is at work here and we are blessed to be a part of the Kingdom work in this beautiful country.<\/p>\n
We led a worship service at the Baptist High school this morning which was started after the revolution in 1989. \u00a0It started with the vision of the Pastor at Hope church with 25 students and now has 670 students.<\/p>\n
In the afternoon we visited an orphanage that houses children from 2yrs old to 18yrs old. \u00a0Their goal is to help the children to learn the love of Jesus and the value they have to the Kingdom of God. \u00a0Matt T. and Adam B. led in some singing and we were all blessed when the Romanian children began singing “Bless the Lord, O my soul” (a contemporary chorus) in Romanian with us. \u00a0The host parents shared with us the vision of the ministry is to help the children learn the value of hard work and how their unique gifts can contribute to their part in God’s design.<\/p>\n
After that, we went to Hope church where we spoke to about 35 to 40 church leaders about the importance of having a God-sized vision for ministry. \u00a0We were blessed by their hospitality and their encouragement. \u00a0We shared about our passion at Parkwood for missions and how the “most important thing that happens at the church happens outside the walls”.<\/p>\n
We finished our first day with a late dinner and are preparing for tomorrow’s opportunities! \u00a0Thank you Parkwood family and friends for your thoughts and prayers! \u00a0We treasure them! \u00a0Please continue as we have the privilege to partner with Romanian Christians in this great work.<\/p>\n
