“I will put My Name on them and I will bless them”<\/em> (Numbers 6:27)<\/p>\n

“The blessing of the Lord brings wealth and He adds no trouble to it.”<\/em> (Proverbs 10:22)<\/p>\n

God blesses all who bear His name.\u00a0 The Scriptures tell us that we are all created “in His image”.\u00a0\u00a0 Our very existence bears witness to God’s existence.\u00a0 We are a living testimony of His work.\u00a0 The question is, are you experiencing His blessing?<\/p>\n

When we respond to God in faith He writes His name on us.\u00a0 It identifies us as His people.\u00a0 We need to know then, that God takes care of the things that are His.\u00a0 He blesses them.\u00a0 He gives them rest when they are weary.\u00a0 He brings peace when there is chaos.\u00a0 He gives hope when there is despair.\u00a0 All of these things should bring a sense of comfort to our soul on this third Sabbath of our Lenten journey.<\/p>\n

Some of us, have a hard time with the principle of Sabbath blessing.\u00a0 We are waiting for the other shoe to drop.\u00a0 We are watching out of the corner of our eye for the “catch”.\u00a0 We are looking over our shoulder for “real life” to over take us.\u00a0 “Trouble is around every corner”, we say.<\/p>\n

Take a look at the Proverb above.\u00a0 When God blesses there are no strings attached.\u00a0 He did not put you on the rug just so He could pull it out from under you!\u00a0 I know…I know…when someone does something for you (blesses you) there is almost always an ulterior motive.\u00a0 But, can I give you some encouragement straight from the Word of God this Sabbath day.<\/p>\n

God has put His name on you and will bless you today…just let Him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
