Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering and come into His courts.&#8221;<\/em> (Psalm 96:7, 8)<\/p>\n<p>God is always at work around us and we are blessed when God gives us the privilege to join Him in it!\u00a0 At Parkwood we are experiencing the blessings of being a part of God&#8217;s Kingdom work.\u00a0 It is\u00a0the &#8220;Father&#8217;s business&#8221;.\u00a0 This is why we set aside a Sunday night every quarter to celebrate what God has done for us, what God is doing, and what God will be doing.\u00a0 It is our way of &#8220;ascribing to the Lord the glory due His name&#8221;.\u00a0 It is a\u00a0 periodic reminder that this isn&#8217;t about us or something that we have done.\u00a0 We gather to celebrate His sufficient provision, His wise guidance, and His unending loving kindness.\u00a0 The words of the Psalmist call for God&#8217;s people to give Him the credit for the many things He does for us.<\/p>\n<p>A special &#8220;Thank You&#8221; to those who came out last Sunday night as we celebrated the growth that God\u00a0has been bringing our way.\u00a0 We heard a testimony from one of our youth, Silas James, about the recent youth retreat and the great things coming up in that ministry.\u00a0 We also heard from Lori West, Member and WEE Center teacher, about her ministry in the children&#8217;s area.\u00a0 There was report after report about the faithfulness of God and His provision.<\/p>\n<p>Our next celebration is July 27th!\u00a0 You will not want to miss it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
